Rebecca, Nadine and Francis discover that their teacher, Mr. Gelson, is planning to get the kids to eat frogs, frogs that are none other than Esmeralda, an old friend of Ernest\'s, and her family. The kids and Ernest set their minds on rescuing them: Ernest and Rebecca sneak into school while Nadine and Francis distract the headmistress. But the latter pair realizes that it\'s just to study the frogs, which will then be released. Our heroes have put themselves in a jam for no reason and are spotted by Mr. Tatalia, the school\'s janitor, who takes Ernest for a mutant frog. Ernest comes close to being unmasked, but manages to \"exfiltrate\" his froggy friends in the nick of time.
