Tina works for the Swedish border agency. Given that she shocks those around her with a malformed face, her being a customs officer may seem quite illogical. Yet possessing a superhuman sense of smell makes Tina invaluable. She can detect fear and guilt, thus being able to expose travellers carrying illegal substances. One day, she meets Vore, a scruffy lank-haired fellow misfit, whose smell does not resemble anything Tina has previously encountered. Vore is the key to her mysterious identity. Border is a harsh, perverted, shocking parable about tolerance to differences, uniquely coupling realistic drama and Nordic myth.
